Purpose

This technical position assembles and prepares equipment prior to delivery to the customer. They may also deliver and remove office equipment at customer sites. Because the client’s first impression of UBEO’s service and support is critical to client loyalty, this individual must efficiently execute setup procedures and maintain strict quality control of products intended for delivery.

Other duties include properly handling, loading and transporting equipment; staying in contact with customers, dispatch and sales; working closely with employees to ensure timely deliveries; completing paperwork accurately and on time; and helping keep the warehouse organized and clean.

• Follow established Setup Procedures specific to the product and manufacture.
• Maintain quality levels in equipment preparation so all devices function to manufacturer specifications.
• Update and maintain equipment firmware levels, service mode settings and user settings.
• Complete administrative tasks, documentation and activity reporting accurately and on time.
• Follow all established safety policies and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Complete daily delivery and pick-up of office product equipment when assigned.
• Interact with customers, field service, sales, management and administration courteously and professionally.
• Adhere to safe driving regulations.
• Keep inventory organized in and out of the warehouse.
• Perform other activities that support UBEO BUSINESS SERVICES and our Sales/Service organization.

• Level of Education: High School or GED
• Preferred Job-Related Experience:
  • Equipment setup and Repair
  • Inventory Control
  • Delivery Experience
• Solid Communications – verbal and written
• Planning and organizing, (work management)
• Ability to work independently and as a Team
• Valid drivers License and acceptable driving record
• Can pass a post offer drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 51 pounds
• Ability to operate a delivery truck and pass a DOT physical exam.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
