Department: Administration Reports To: Meter Collection Supervisor FLSA Status: Full Time / Hourly
Purpose The Meter Collector contributes to the timely and accurate billing of customers through the collecting and recording of data used to establish usage on supported office equipment.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for collecting meter readings by leveraging meter collection tools as well as direct interaction with customers.
Complete daily meter collection assignments
Call customers to collect meter readings on non-networked devices
Upload and download meter readings using various software/tools
Work with internal IT Helpdesk to link data collection tools to customer devices
Monitors daily “issue” reporting and takes appropriate corrective actions to resolve data collection issues
Processes the billing on service contracts once valid meters are input
Provide management and ad-hoc reports utilizing Microsoft Excel
Effectively communicate with employees and interact with customers in a courteous and appropriate manner

Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook).
Proficiency in E-Automate or other similar ERP system
Proficiency with ECM/Workflow software

Ability to work in fast paced environment with time sensitive deadlines
Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Ability to sit at desk for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications.
Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms.
